| With the rapid development of automobile industry in China, automotive lightweight and safety performance enhancement were focused. It was realized by applying lightweight materials, optimizing design structure of vehicles and using advanced forming technology. The paper mainly introduced technical principles of hotstamping and hydroforming as well as their advantages in weight loss and safety. It also introduced the application of hotstamping and hydroforming technology in Baosteel and predicted the development trending in the future. |
