This paper systematically introduces the fabrication methods, typical structures, applied principles and refining effects of Al-P series master alloys which have extensive applications in Al-Si piston alloys. Meanwhile, the confronted challenges and opportunities at current situations are put forward for driving the development of master alloys in this field. |
