The aim of the study was to design a process of forming double-hole shells and manufacturing qualified products. By numerically simulating the forming process of double-hole shells, the forming tendency, strain and stress diagrams were analyzed to provide a theoretical support for the process design. The viability and rationality of double-hole shells extrusion process were optimized and verified by simulation and calculation. In conclusion, by process scheme analysis and finite element simulation and calculation, the final scheme for forming of double-hole shells was confirmed, and qualified products were manufactured. |
