The deformation problem in tightening band process of projectile shell is analyzed. Theoretical calculation of the extrusion load of tightening band process of projectile shell is conducted. The cause of deformation problem is determined. By improving tightening band process and clamping jaw structure and optimizing the fit clearance of between core of tightening band and shell bore the deformation of in tightening band of the thin-walled shell is reduced. The rejection rate is decreased. The quality is ensured. The production cost is saved. The experience of tightening band of the thin-walled shell is obtained. |
