With the finite element analysis software ANSYS / LS-DYNA the feed angle and steel pipe deformation in three-roll cross rolling hollow reducing process were studied, especially with the wall thickness. An attempt was made through the analysis of the rolling deformation region stress-strain distribution, wall thickness variation and the shape of the pipe blank end face under different feed angles to determine the feasibility and effectiveness of cross rolling hollow reducing process. |
