Finite element increment method and finite element inverse method are adopted. One initial blank shape was obtained by the inverse finite element method firstly. And then the hydroforming process was simulated. The blank shape and size were optimized. The experiment was carried out finally. The results have shown that the optimized blank shape is round. The results of simulation keep a good agreement with the experiment results. |
