This paper presents a study of the friction coefficients for TC4 titanium alloy at high temperature deformation using hot compression experiments of ring and finite element ( FE) simulation. FE simulations were used to derive the friction calibration curves. The relationship of changing in inner diameter and height was obtained by ring compression experiments. And by comparing the relationship with the friction calibration curves the friction coefficients of TC4 titanium alloy for glass lubricant and dry conditions can be determined 0. 32 and 0. 58. |
