A mechanical product bolt box forging the improved dimensional accuracy, appearance the demand is high, in before physical development former hard to find potential defects, In order to improve the product quality and dimensional stability forging process of the bolt box is analyzed and researched. Deform 3D finite element software is used to simulate the forming process to the improved forging. The best material specification size for the forging is determined. Its defects is predicted. It provides guidance for production quality process control and percent of pass. |
