Based on dynamic explicit finite element method and with software LS-Dyna, the full rolling process of small size H-beam was simulated. The choosing of elements type, the construction of the element nets, material model and the boundary condition were introduced in detail. The stress and strain status was derived from the calculation, and the current status of the iron and the metal filling condition were analyzed. This paper provides reference for the technology planning and the roller pass designing of H-beam rolling. |
