The chemical compositions of Fe-26Mn-6Al-C steel are based on TIRP steel and TWIP steel, but it has a higher content of manganese and aluminum. With the high stacking fault energy and high strength, this steel can be applied to automobile industry to improve fuel economy and security, yet reduce automobile body weight and costs, and has wide prospect of application. The chemical compositions and microstructure of Fe-26Mn-6Al-C steel are studied. The tensile mechanical properties of the test Fe-26Mn-6Al-C steel after hot-rolling, solution treatment and aging treatment at room temperature are tested. And the microstructures of the steel under different conditions and deformations are observed. The age-hardening behavior of Fe-26Mn-6Al-C steel is studied. |
