The grain size of a steering arm forging was predicted by FEM model coupling of 42CrMo microstructure evolution model . The results showed that the grain size by the hot forging process could meet the qualification of the product. By this forging process,metallographic analysis was carried out, and the results of grain size were consistent with the prediction. |
